Hack Hub
Overview
Hack Hub is a professional social media network where developers and programmers create profiles highlighting current and prior work experience. They can connect with colleagues and build a network to advance their careers.
This is a personal project focusing on UI and Information Architecture.

Because networking is the focal point of this platform, it was important to include features for developers to discover, share, grow and build.
Product Goals
To foster a sense of community and the ability to work anywhere, anytime around the world remaining connected 24/7.
A platform to showcase work. Not just a link to a portfolio or Github repository, this is a one stop shop to get a visual overview of the developers’ capabilities through selected projects along with a summary of their interests, background and skills
A networking tool that expresses personality through personal introductions and allows users to get to know other professionals through discussions, messages, attending/hosting events, and joining/starting groups.

Home Feed
The Home page was done in dark mode option for developer preferences.
The world map displays time zones and real time active users to allow night owls to find fellow night owls or developers online in other parts of the world. The feed works as a discussion board for project collaborations, code questions and events.
Top Groups allows users to see most popular groups to join as well as to start groups of their own.
New members shows most recently joined and has an invite button for current users to invite friends.

Chat Pop Up
“Nerds Unite” button leads to chat pop up where users can search sections of the map and zoom in on parts of the world to see who is on line. There is a list of current users online based on users followers or location.
